About dip
Even when a world is turned upside down, the child's stability stays the same.
The whole design of dip carries that one truth. The name, the dots, the penguin. Here is why each piece looks the way it does.
The name
A shared perspective.
dip is a rotational ambigram. Rotate the logo 180° and it reads exactly the same.
The d and the p are the two sides of a separation. Two homes, two perspectives, two parents. The i is the child, standing firmly in the centre. No matter which way you look at it, or which parent has the "lead," the focus does not move.

Same word. Same child. Whichever side you read it from.

The two dots
The pillars of support.
The two yellow dots in the wordmark are the parents.
- Top and bottom. They bracket the child (the i), as the foundation and the guidance.
- A vertical spine. The dots create a line of stability. They are not pulling apart. They are holding the centre together.
The mascot
A small penguin chick. The heart of it.
Penguins are the ultimate co-parenting animal. They survive only through cooperation and flawless hand-offs. One parent leaves to feed, the other stays. The egg, and then the chick, never sits alone.
The yellow heart
The heart on the chick's chest is the same yellow as the parent dots. The child's well-being is fueled directly by the parents' ability to connect, communicate, and hand off. Not by anything else.

For everyone
Made to be understood.
Co-parenting is hard enough. The platform should not be. Every page is written in plain, clear language. Every tool is designed so the next step is obvious. Whether you grew up with phones or not, whether this is your first language or your fifth, dip is built to fit you, not the other way around.
Plain language.
No legal jargon, no clinical distance. Words a parent would actually use.
Simple to use.
Each screen does one thing. Each next step is the obvious one. No hidden menus, no training needed.
Built to translate.
Five languages today. More as they arrive, written for the family, not the machine.
The dip difference
Other apps build a case. dip is designed to build a life.
We move away from conflict-heavy tools and toward the yellow heart of the family. The small, daily acts of communication that turn the anxiety of separation into the rhythm of a shared journey.
Other apps
Optimised for evidence.
Logs, screenshots, "court-ready" exports. Tools that imagine the relationship is already over.
dip
Optimised for the child's week.
Schedule, hand-off, conversation, vault. Tools that imagine the relationship still has days to live well.
