Before anything formal or legal, there is a shorter list of questions that, once answered, prevents most day-to-day disagreements. The starter worksheet walks through them: the schedule and handovers, school and health decisions, how shared money works, how holidays split, and the one that underpins all of it, how the two of you will make a decision when you disagree.
Working through it together, or each filling a copy and comparing, surfaces the gaps while they are still small. It is not a contract and it is not legal advice. It is the plain agreement that a calm year is built on, and a strong starting point if you later take anything to a mediator or a lawyer.
